Abstract:
To examine the influence of calcium compound on the NaOH fusion roasting zinc oxide ore, ZnCO3, SiO2 and PbO2 were selected to reacted with NaOH, respectively. The phase structures of the obtained clinkers were examined. Combining with the phase structures of clinker of NaOH roasting zinc oxide ore and leaching residue, the product phases of calcium compounds reacting with NaOH were obtained. The insoluble Ca2SiO4 and Ca2PbO4 decreased the extraction rates of Si and Pb, and the existence of Na2ZnSiO4 decreased extraction rates of Zn and Si. Finally, the chemical reactions of ZnCO3, SiO2, PbO2 and calcium compounds in NaOH roasting zinc oxide ore were discussed.
