钙基膨润土的可交换阳离子纯化方法

    Purification Method of Exchangeable Cations of Calcium Bentonite

    • 摘要: 膨润土的性质受可交换阳离子的类型和含量影响,通过纯化可以增加单类阳离子的含量,从而改善膨润土的性能(如吸附性、分散性和膨胀性等)。为此,选取天然钙基高庙子(GMZ)膨润土为研究对象,通过浸泡—渗析洗盐法进行可交换阳离子纯化,使用NH4Cl-C2H5OH溶液作为交换剂,采用电感耦合等离子体质谱法(ICP-MS)对可交换阳离子种类及含量进行了测定。结果表明,使用渗析法洗盐能够大幅提高试样回收率,回收率均在96%以上,洗盐时间约为3 d;膨润土经NH4Cl-C2H5OH溶液交换5次后,可交换阳离子可被交换完全;纯化后的GMZ膨润土的钠化率为72.12%,钾化率为82.60%,钙化率为88.16%,单类可交换阳离子纯化率大幅增加。渗析法纯化膨润土操作简单,效果较好,值得开展深入研究。

       

      Abstract: The properties of bentonite are influenced by the type and content of exchangeable cations. The content of single-type cations can be increased by purification, thereby improving the properties of bentonite (such as the properties of adsorption, dispersion and expansion). The Gaomiaozi (GMZ) bentonite was used as the tested materials. Purification of exchangeable cations was first carried out through the immersion-dialysis method, and the cations was exchanged by using NH4Cl-C2H5OH solution. Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) was used to determine the species and content of exchangeable cations. The experimental results show that the use of dialysis to wash salt can significantly improve the soil sample recovery rate,which is above 96%, and the salt washing time is about 3 days. After the bentonite is repeatedly exchanged with the NH4Cl-C2H5OH solution for 5 times, the exchangeable cations can be replaced completely.The exchangeable sodium percentages of GMZ bentonite was 72.12%, the exchangeable potassium percentage was 82.60%, and the exchangeable calcium percentage was 88.16%, respectively. The purification rate of single-type exchangeable cations has been greatly increased. The purification of bentonite by dialysis is simple and effective, which is worthy of further study.
