Abstract:
The fine-grained gold ore is easy to oxidize due to the fine disseminated grain size, resulting in a slower flotation rate. The effect of high intensity conditioning on pyrite and fine-grained gold ore was investigated by flotation time experiments. The monomineral flotation experiments showed that high intensity conditioning could significantly improve the flotation effect of pyrite. Flotation experiments of actual ores demonstrated that high intensity conditioning technology improved the flotation rate and recovery rate of the fine-grained gold ore. Flotation kinetic studies showed that high intensity conditioning could significantly increase the flotation rate constant of fine-grained gold minerals. Closed-circuit tests showd that the new process of high intensity conditioning and flotation improved the flotation index of the fine-grained gold ore. The study provides a reference for the research of new flotation technology and equipment for the fine-grained gold ore.
